Request for help on how to stop aluminum from pitting

Our Aluminum trailer drop down horse windows are pitting - is there a method to stop the pitting? 3 out of 4 have pits in them already 2 just on the inside and one on the inside and outside of the windows. The manufacture only guaranteed them for 1 year we are now in our 4th year.

Use a primer for aluminum on eBay or Amazon [affil links] and then paint that with a polyurethane exterior paint.
