Overhead Lifting Equipment in the Galvanizing Industry

I am looking for information on the use of chain for overhead lifting in the hot-dip galvanizing industry. Preferably, the type of materials used (ie., carbon /alloy or stainless), type of heat treatment/coating, and its length of service before replacement is required. Also, if there are any OSHA Regulations restricting or authorizing the use of chain for this industry.
