This specification supplier can furnish
DIN-50942 PHOSPHATING OF METALS; PRINCIPLES, METHODS OF TESTING.
Note: English, withdrawn, superseded by DIN EN 12476 PHOSPHATE CONVERSION COATINGS OF METALS - METHOD OF SPECIFYING REQUIREMENTS
Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. has an English language site at http://www2.din.de/index.php?lang=en
FYI, one could save 35.9 Euros by being able to read German. DIN EN 12476, Publication date:2001-10 [English 78.30 Euros]
Phosphate conversion coatings of metals - Method of specifying requirements; German version EN 12476:2000 [42.40 Euros]

You can obtain an English language copy of this standard from Global Engineering Documents (USA) or directly from DIN (Germany). Check their websites for availability, as this standard has been superseded by DIN EN 12476.
