Q. Zinc plating to code QQZ2325A? How old is this code and is there a equivalent later spec?

A. Don't know the age of this spec., but its 2nd revision, QQ-Z-235C, was issued Aug. 18, 1976 and cancelled March 9, 1982. Referral was made to ASTM B633, "Standard Specification for Electrodeposited Coatings of Zinc on Iron and Steel". This does not cover electroplated sheet (see ASTM A591/A591M) or wire (no ASTM spec. for electroplated, several for hot-dip galvanized).
