Care and Cleaning of Aluminum Surfaces

I am looking for proper instructions for cleaning and care of aluminum, both regular unfinished and anodized. We are the largest paint manufacturer on the West Coast, and have 72 stores and over 175 outside sales reps. Our customer base is heavy painting contractors, painters, maintenance accounts, and retail customers. We put out a company training issue each two months with all kinds of helpful painting tips and problem solving articles to our sales force and stores. We would like your input as to cleaning aluminum in all stages and conditions including pitting. Your help would be appreciated.

The best thing to do is go to any airstream trailer site and look for the materials that they use to polish airstream campers. There are a few companies that have the right stuff as well as instructions on how to do it.
