-----Hydrogen Peroxide as a possible substitute for HCl as a pickling agent?
Can anyone share with me experiences that they have had with hydrogen peroxide as a pickling agent for preparation wire coils for bolt and nut making as well as components for hot dip galvanizing. We are in the process of evaluating the possibility of substituting HCl with the former on the basis of cost and availability and possible environmental considerations.
