-----Help about passivation
Sir, I am related to a vendor industry of OEM manufacturer of Auto parts, we use different passivation method. I want to know during passivation how we can control the color of passivation, I mean is it possible to passivate in any color for example beige color.

'Passivation' is an almost meaningless generic term, Mr. Aam. It can refer to a treatment of stainless steel to minimize rusting, it can refer to chromate conversion coating of zinc plating, and other processes as well. Please describe what you mean by passivation, and what the surface material is that you are passivating. Thanks.

Assuming that we are talking about passivation on zinc plating, I feel that the corrosion resistance may be compromised, by trying to achieve colour variations. Your are talking about OEM automotive parts here.
