Aluminum coating on steel

Is it possible to coat aluminium layer on Steel sheet that can be used for manufacturing cookware? If yes, what will be its durability?

It can be done, but you can not afford to do it. It is also too thin and would not have the durability to live thru your manufacturing process let alone last in the home.

Dear Rameshbhai,

Yes you can do the Aluminum coating on SS utensils by using the metal spray techniques. Some of the Chennai based ss utensils are doing the same thing, I seen at their plant. You have to buy the metal spraying plant, and afterwards a coating unit, if you are going to offer a non stick coated cookware. If you are thinking on Sandwich bottom technology, then it s different than this.

Wishing you all the best.
