I'm looking for a machine that will enable me to chrome plate auto wheels, motorcycle accessories, etc. Please quote me a price for a machine capable of these duties.

Hi Kimberley,

$750,000 is probably as good an average as any, although it depends on production capacity. Although you've called it a machine, actually it's a custom assembly of a half dozen systems of different sorts -- a small factory more than a machine. I would suggest that you take a look at our FAQ "Intro to Chrome Plating" for an understanding of the steps involved. Then if possible try to visit a couple of plating shops and acquire a general understanding of what pieces you need and how to specify them before you ask for a price. Best of luck.
