Tell me about "Nitrocarburize"

2003

Dear ones, Hello!

Here we have client requesting surface finishing as Nitrocarburize. Would you please give me a notion of that?

Thanks and Regards,

Hello Maggie. See our library article on the Quench-Polish-Quench Nitrocarburizing process; it may help. But please frame your questions in terms of your real-world situation so that, in trying to help you, our readers are learning something from you in exchange. Good luck.

Nitrocarburize is a heat treatment that results in a very hard, thin coating, that can improve wear resistance and deformation. Several commercial heat treaters can perform this process. Hope this helps.
