-----S.S Scratch Finishing Machine
I'm having trouble getting the right finish for the door of an electronic safe module that I'm designing. I tried using S.S pre-buffed (No. 4 finish) sheets, but almost every other operation including bending damages the finish. hand buffing is very irregular, and I'm looking for the right machine that can give me that grainy dull brushed steel look that's as good as the pre-buffed one. any ideas? Thanks, Sriram.

This finish is usually achieved with a machine often called a "Timesaver" which uses a wide sandpaper belt. It's only for flat surfaces though. If your module has large flat surfaces it may be possible to do this finish after fabrication, although the radiused bends would not get the scratched finish.

My first choice would be to try a non-woven abrasive wheel on your parts.
