Aluminum Cast Finish for Plasma Process Chamber

2003

Is there a low cost finish that can be applied to the inside walls of a cast Aluminum chamber, designed for chemical etching and plasma process, which will help prevent porosity and increase vacuum integrity?

Loctite is probably the leader in providing sealants for casting porosity. They offer a number of products, but in general they are based on low viscosity, anaerobic resins similar to their adhesives and threadlocking compounds. I recommend visiting their website and discussing the application with them further.
