Outsourcing of paint mixing operation

--

The company I work for would like to investigate the potential of outsourcing our paint mixing operation. We currently process around 4 million gallons of paint. We have numerous different formulations, some high volume, some low volume. These coatings are highly proprietary and create our uniqueness in the industry. However they are not necesarily difficult to mix.

Fundamentally, our current operation does not have the high quality mixing capabilities that we would like. We are not experts in the mixing industry, but rather experts in the application industry for our given substrate.

We would like to outsource this mixing operation to a vendor who could provide high-quality, JIT supplies of the coating we need. Inventory costs could be absorbed by our company if that is a challenge. Obviously a long-term relationship is desirable here.

Looking for organizations that can provide this service.

Thank you!
