Brass electroplating

I have a problem with BRASS ELECTROPLATING. The problem is the appearance of faint yellow and some times the coating is not shiny. Kindly give your opinion.

Follow the datasheet exactly (Provided it has brighteners from a supplier). When all else fails give it a dose of Ammonium Hydroxide. Test in a Hull Cell first!
