Titanium dipping

I am trying to "black-out my motorcycle, I have been told to have the chrome/silver parts "titanium dipped" but I am having trouble finding info on this method. My question is is it possible and who can do it and how much does it cost.

Thanks,

Titanium is an element and I'm virtually positive there is no such thing as dipping parts into molten titanium, nor electroplating them with titanium. It sounds like a trade name for a process that may or may not involve some form of titanium, although titanium dioxide this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] is the best known white, not black, pigment for paint.
