WOULD A FINE-SILVER PLATING CUT DOWN ON THE TARNISHING OF POLISHED STERLING JEWELRY?
I AM A TECH SUPPORT FOR A LARGE JEWELRY MANUFACTURER IN MEXICO. WE RECENTLY STARTED PRODUCING STERLING SILVER ITEMS AND WE HAVE A TARNISHING PROBLEM. WOULD A BRIGHT, FINE SILVER PLATING CUT DOWN ON THE TARNISHING? IF SO COULD YOU TELL ME WHAT IS REQUIRED TO SET UP A PLATING BATH. I HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RHODIUM, GOLD, AND NICKEL PLATING.

Hello ANDREW,
You can use white free solution you will get from Gold Touch [a finishing.com supporting advertiser] White free deposits a beautiful bright and white finish resembling bright silver. It can also can be use as Imitation Rhodium. But will not last like rhodium plating. It is very good solution and very easy to use.
