Painting over Plated Brass Shower Enclosure Frame

We are redecorating our bathroom & changing everything from brass to chrome/nickel/black finish on hardware. Our shower enclosure's frame is aluminum that is plated brass color. Is it possible that we could change the "color" of this shower enclosure to a nickel/chrome or black finish? If so, what is the procedure.

Thanks a million.

Sorry, Ron, it's not going to work. The gold color is a dye that is applied during the manufacturing process after anodizing of the aluminum and before "sealing" it. The color cannot be removed or changed. You may or may not be able to get sufficient paint adhesion by cleaning and lightly sanding, but paint is your only hope.
