Removal of rust from vinyl siding

I have listed a property that has a great deal of rust on the vinyl siding in areas where they watered their flowers. It is well water that has not been softened. Will Muriatic Acid remove this rust without damaging the vinyl siding?

Thanks,

Hi Henry,

You haven't got a thing to worry about ... use any acid you like although perhaps not nitric ... use any concentration you wish (of the normal 'store' brands). PVC is utterly resistant to HCl, AKA Muriatic acid.
