Etching cast aluminum
2003
I have 1969 Harley and the gear case and chain case are made of cast aluminum and the color of the casting is kind of dull and old looking. I would like to know what to use to brighten up these parts. I tried all the stuff they have at the truck stops but it does nothing for it. When I worked in the Fab. shop we made small tanks and boxes and we would etch them to brighten them up. I don't know what it was we used. Can anyone help me?
