Clear lacquering tints

I am in the metal polishing business and I am looking for clear lacquering tints. I want that look alike plated brass or gold finish that is added to clear lacquer. I've contacted my lacquer company among other places and keep coming up negative, but I know a person who uses it but they won't share any info on it. Can you help me or put me in the right direction. Thanks John
