Determination of Na by AAS

I am working on the determination of Na in Na2S.9H2O by atomic absorption on eBay or Amazon [affil link] . Or if you have any kind of information general for the determination of Na by atomic absorption. I need the experimental part.

Thank you,

First of all read the instructions that should be with the AA unit. If you don't you may well blow yourself up. Secondly, make up some standards of a suitable sodium salt (say NaCl) and calibrate your instrument. Thirdly, run samples of your sodium sulfide. Remember - if everything else fails, read the instructions.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
