Determination of Na by AAS

2003

I am working on the determination of Na in Na2S.9H2O by atomic absorption. Or if you have any kind of information general for the determination of Na by atomic absorption. I need the experimental part.

Thank you,

First of all read the instructions that should be with the AA unit. If you don't you may well blow yourself up. Secondly, make up some standards of a suitable sodium salt (say NaCl) and calibrate your instrument. Thirdly, run samples of your sodium sulfide. Remember - if everything else fails, read the instructions.

CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW I WILL MAKE THE STANDARD SOLUTIONS(NaCL) IN DETAIL?
