Nickel chrome plating issue

We need nickel chrome plating on 0.040" Aluminum material. Is it better to plate nickel on chrome or vice versa ?

The nickel is almost always plated first. But it sounds to me like you are a very long way from being ready to write a plating specification for these parts 🙂
