Zinc Dichromate

Could anyone please tell me what the general process is for "Zinc Dichromate"? It's a ASTM B633, SC3, Type II Colored Chromate Conversion Coating as my client stated on the drawing. I'm trying to explain this to my Chinese vendor. It's been a while since I learned this stuff in college. I barely remember this is different from Zinc plating because it's rather a chemical process.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is zinc plating for service condition 3, followed by a type II chromate conversion coating. The thing to do, Jack, is to get yourself and your Chinese vendor each a copy of ASTM specification B633 by following the hotlink.
