Hello,

My question is that what is the tin anode which use in tinplating of steel produce and what is its properties and characterization and how can we modified it.

The anode is tin; in the UK it is usually grade T2 as it is cheaper than the very pure stuff. What do you want to modify and why?

Trevor,

What is Tin grade T2? We use pure tin anodes, 99.99% pure, and they are very expensive. How can I specify this anodes and any other advantages or disadvantages, if you can. Our process uses up a big amount of tin anodes, they dissolve very quickly. After some work we find the anodes are gone, only the upper part and the hook remain hanging. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help,
