Can 6061-T6 be anodized to natural color?

Q. Is 6061-T6 alloy suitable for natural finish anodizing? We have about 10.0 tons of aluminum channels made of 6061-T6 alloy and wish to anodize.

Please help?

A. Yes, Sunil, 6061-T6 can be anodized -- and it tends to be easier than 2XXX and 7XXX alloys.
