Effect of Anodising on Teflon Coating of aluminium Pan

Q. Dear Sir,

I would like to know if a Aluminium pan made up HINDALCO aluminium of 0.5 mm thick coated with teflon non-stick coating is Anodising externally.

How is the anodising is done on above ? what will be the effect of process on the non-stick coating? If some of the parameters during Anodising process are reached beyond operating limits what will be its effect on non-stick coating? What will be effect of oxidation process which will occur during anodising and whether it will affect coating? and How?

A. Dear Vijay,

You can contact to any Anodising consultant to solving all your problems and for proper research work. Anodising process is not effecting on PTFF coating film 25 to 30 micron.
