A. Have it on my book shelf. As 2nd generation plater have dozens of old books that can't be found today with invaluable information. Have you tried the Milton Werner library at Metal Surfaces in Bell Garden, CA. Sam Bell there tells me he's got similar titles. If not, I'm willing to loan you mine. Having done training sessions in our facility a couple of years back you know how to get a hold of us!

RFQ: I know this is a very old topic and the request is a bit odd ... but is it possible to borrow this book somehow or purchase it?

Your purchases make finishing.com possible

A. Hi Max.
It's not available for sale anywhere, and no e-book exists. But copies are available in 52 libraries around the world, the closest to you being the University of Iowa. Go to worldcat.org and search for ISBN 0901994782 to get generally familiar with the book and its availability, then visit your local library and see if they can borrow it for you.
I'm not versed in library science and don't know quite how it works and whether it is possible to borrow it or you must visit a library that has it.
If someone does want to sell their copy or loan it to you they can contact you through the RFQ link, and we'll maintain the link to Amazon and AbeBooks →
on the off-chance that someone lists their copy there. Good luck. Regards,
