Welded Stainless Steel Finishing

I'm making metal boxes for tool transportation in truck's and the cover is made of stainless steel (AISI 304 B). After Mig welding and sanding the cover's corners get a different texture and color. What kind of finishing should I apply (products/procedure)to the corners in order to get a uniform texture on the cover?

Passivation is required for the welded areas. Contact any chemical manufacturer offering electroplating chemicals, and he will help you in difficulty.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
