Electropolishing electroless nickel

I am trying to locate appropriate processes to electropolish high phosphorus electroless nickel.

We have a process for electropolishing nickel, but I think you might be disappointed in the results on electroless nickel. The reason is that the nickel dissolves in the bath, but the phosphorous does not, leaving a smut on the surface.
