SULPHOCHROMIC PICKLING - BATH COMPOSITION

I NEED TO KNOW THE COMPOSITION OF A SULPHOCHROMIC BATH FOR TREATMENT OF ALUMINUM SURFACES.

Sulphochromic bath contains sulfuric Acid and Chromic Acid solutions in De-mineralized water. This bath is heated to about 70 °C and used as a pickle bath during anodizing process. i.e., it removes the oxidation from aluminium surface. Parts are dipped for a very short time, rinsed thoroughly (preferably in demin water) and then loaded in anodizing bath for anodizing.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
