Instances of rusting metal

I am a 12 year old student in New York. I am doing a science experiment for Mrs. Daves, my Physical science teacher,in M.S.104. she wants us to know which place of physical environment you could use to rust a motional type of metal and which of the elements on the periodic table are needed to prevent the obsetces of the type of metal? Would you be able to answer my question?

Hi, Sophia. You might want to ask Mrs. Daves how to spell some of the words you are trying to write. I cannot figure out what you meant to say by 'motional', and 'obsetces'. Sorry.
