Hello, Jang.

SPE is "Society of Plastics Engineers" (www.4spe.org), while SPI is "Society of the Plastics Industry" (www.plasticsindustry.org).

letter 20910 on this site should be helpful to you in understanding the issues. The B-3 finish is what used to be known as the #3 finish.

You can get the "Mold Finish Guide" at http://store.plasticsindustry.org. Look for item AR-106.

Good luck!

Regards,
