Measure of case depth with NDT methods and equipments for ion nitriding plasma

I would like to know, what is the better method to measure case depth got with process Ion Nitriding Plasma using NDT Equipments, instead of Metallographic analysis. Our objective is to get what is the case on ± 0.002 inch for steels and Iron products mainly. We reach a maximum of 0.040 inches, on our services using Ion Nitride Plasma. We would like to show our Treatment to our customers with a report of the substrate of case got.
