Copper as an accelerator in Iron Phosphate.
I would like to request infomation in regard to additions of Copper as an accelerator to Iron Phosphate conversion coatings in combination with the primary accelerator such as chlorate, hydroxy amine or benzene. Besides being a regulated metal for waste treatment concerns, what are the pros and cons? Also, if beneficial, at what concentration in the working solution?
