-----Testing nickel sulfamate
Q. What is a testing method for the quality of nickel sulfamate? We are a company selling nickel sulfamate in Korea but we don't know about the nickel sulfamate, whether good quality or poor quality. I hope somebody will answer.

A. There is no trick to doing a tensile test for nickel sulphamate. Just run the bath in the normal way and do a simple stress test. One of the best stress reducers is sodium saccharin, but adding too much (more than 1g/l) will send it compressive. However, the effect of saccharin is dependent on temperature and cathodic current density. there are some excellent publications on this subject by NiDI.
