Stripping phosphate coating form defective phosphated parts
We are facing some problem in phosphating and the problem is only visible after the full process. Is there any method to strip zinc phosphate coating from cold roll steel parts?

Hi Ravinder,
Phosphate coatings can be stripped from steel by immersion in a chromic acid bath, 5% v/v, 180 F for 10 minutes.
