Painting on zinc

Can you recommend an economical coating (paint, plating, etc.) process for use on a zinc alloy casting (ZA-8)? This part needs to be black for appearance only.

I too am interested in painting new zinc castings with a spray-applied coating (black). Has anyone found a cleaner/primer/paint sequence which was successful?
