Searching for clear coating for MDF

1998

we are looking for a clear coating to coat mdf board covered with white primer vinyl and has a glossy decal afixed to it. this coating has to be a high build non yellowing high gloss (wet look). we are hoping there is faster way to achive this finish.

these are presently being coated with a acrylic polyester 50% solids catalized product which takes two coats and requires 24 hours at 90 degrees per coat. the cure temp. can be no more than 100 degrees or the edges of the decal begin to lift.

we have tried lacqures and they off color the white areas.

we have looked at ultraviolet cure coatings and have not found a coating clear enough for the white areas.

we have looked at different waterborn products but they have trouble adhering to the glossy decal.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
