Want an organized list of Anodizing Specifications

There are 3 basics types of anodizing (Type I, II, III) which is Chromic, Sulfuric and Hard Coat. There are a number of basic industries (FOOD, AEROSPACE, AUTOMOTIVE, FORD, MARINE, MILITARY, ARCHITECTURAL - basic ones I have identified)that use specific specifications for their criteria. For example, the Military uses MIL-A-8625 / MIL-PRF-8625 [on DLA]. I would very much like to know the general specifications that apply to the others. This may seem simple, but I believe it may be a lot more complex as there are companies with their own special specifications, and specifications that are general but not used by any major group. Please let me know any information you have. I am told there is no real chart out there that brings this all together. Am working on one. Thank you all.

I think this is a very good idea, Gene. As the military began deprecating some of their specifications in favor of commercial ones, there have been some annoying problems in the area of what spec is really equivalent and what isn't. It would be great to have an organized list of all anodizing specs.
