Dear Ilya Ostrovsky

My company has recently installed a new alkaline paint stripping bath for the removal of polyester powder coatings from aluminium extrusions.

We are extremely pleased with the results and have made a large annual saving also.

If this is of interest, I can pass on the details of the supplier of the process.

Regards

Ian Peart

It is not stated the type of alkaline paint remover required but assuming that it is for industrial Aluminium use, we offer products based on Methylene Chloride (Dichloromethane) and Methylene Chloride free materials. It is the latter material (Our product name WR-STRIP) that Ian Peart of Granges Building Systems refers to.

Briefly this material is used by immersion at 40Deg. C. with circulation and filtration followed by a water rinse. It will typically remove an 80 micron polyester or epoxy polyester coating in 10-30 minutes. It is suitable for all substrates.

Further details can be obtained from:-
