-----Restoring old wood exterior doors
I am trying to restore an old exterior door that has a few wooden parts that are pulling away from the door and the paint is chipping. What is the best way to repair a wood and and paint it? I would like a new door but it will cost way over $800 because the house is 100 years old and the door is not "standard". Any advice?

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
