-----Salt Spray inquiry
Dear Sirs,
I would like to know why the chlorides concentration in the collection (solution collected during the test) of salt spray test is higher than in the initial solution, and which parameters can affect the pH value in the collection and in the initial solution.
Thank you for your help.
- Montreal, Canada
The concentration of chloride ions in your collections is higher than the initial solution because of the inherent loss of water in the heating/atomization process of the salt-fog chamber.
