Al etching operating conditions?

I am currently trying to find the optimal operating conditions for Aluminium Etching. We want to optimize the Etch rate (Our Chemical Milling process), given that we must have at least a surface roughness of 65Ra. What should be the optimal conditions (Temperature, Caustic concentrations, aluminium concentration in solution should it be constant, additives, ...)

Thanks,

Refer to "The Surface Treatment and Finishing of Aluminum and Its Alloys" [adv: this book on AbeBooks, Amazon & eBay] by S. Wernick, R. Pinner, P.G. Sheasby.
