Anodizing with barrel
Dear Sir,
My job is to develop new processes. My company main activity is anodizing of aluminium parts. May I know how to anodize aluminium parts using barrel? Any unique barrel design to achieve good anodizing film or do I need to use special chemical to anodize by using barrel?
Best Regards,
Wan Chan Cheong
Anodizing cannot be done in a conventional plating barrel because the anodized film is an excellent electrical insulator. To do anodizing in bulk, the parts much be held in place, squashed together. This can results in thickness variations and noticeable non-anodized contact marks where the parts touched each other, etc. It can be done but the quality may not match that of anodizing on racks, and experience counts.

Dear friend!
Only take perforated Ti - basket, put parts inside, press from the top and process like a rack!
