Removal of anodized finish from aluminum mirror
I would like to know the best way to remove the anodizing finish from an aluminum mirror. The mirror was anodized black but I would like to have a polished aluminum finish to match the other mirror that I have. I guess two questions, removal of the anodized finish and polishing the resulting bare aluminum finish? If chemicals are required, are they readily available to the hobbyist. These mirrors are bar end mirrors for a motorcycle. Thanks for any and all replys! Curt!
