"DEMINERALISER REGENERATION"

-----

ph of water 8 to 9 and can't get conductivity below 5 microsiemen. This is a 8 meter cube demineraliser.

Sodium leakage, or poor rinse up of the anion columns. Check your level of sodium in the effluent. A little goes along way.

For an effective cation and anion regeneration conductivity will be 0 microsiemens and its pH will be 7.8 to 8. In your case your pH is almost ok but your conductivity can be still brought down by better cation regeneration. Your cation has not been regenerated well. Sodium is slipping from your cation and hence there is increase in cond. Regenerate your cation with double quantity of acid(only once)and see the result.
