Transparent chromium plating process

Is there any transparent chormium electroplating (~0.5micron) technology available? If anyone know, please give some information to me. Thanks for your help.

David Koo
- China

No, there is no such thing as transparent chrome plating, no matter how thin, but plating layers this thin will not change the structure or sheen of the base metal. Therefore if you need to retain the finish of the base with a chrome colour that is possible.

All the best,
