Copper cyanide and bio-terrorism

There was a news report that a NJ post office had found a letter which was leaking copper cyanide. What exactly is this, and what threat, as related to bio-terrorism, if any, is there?

Thanks,

Copper cyanide is a poison, but you'd have to eat it. The stuff found was mostly laundry detergent. This was more likely a prank than a terrorist thing.
