Removing Seal Coat on Conrete

Will muric acid remove black seal coating from concrete?

Tina Denney
- Springfield, Illinois, USA

I think Muriatic Acid [affil link] will attack the concrete much faster than it will attack the black seal coating, Tina. I don't think it's a good idea. Some appropriate solvent might be better.
