Chemical Etching

Please suggest to me a suitable process for etching on copper 0.3mm thickness (the etching should be all the way through, i.e., the etching depth is the same as the thickness). This process is supposed to produce a slot on round bowls/pots of 0.3mm thickness. Pot outside diameter is 33mm. Presently ferric chloride is used.
